BEAR HUNTS
DO-IT-YOURSELF BLACK BEAR HUNT
Pennsylvania bear season traditionally begins the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Basically we are offering a camp rental and hunting areas that traditionally have produced bear kills. Included with your hunt will be a very modern camp located within minutes of PRIME bear hunting areas.
Hunters may use our areas and tree stand or may still hunt in areas of their choice. We have an endless amount of acreage that is accessible to hunters, especially those who like to venture off the beaten path. Topo maps and Satellite maps of prime hunting areas will be provided.
Hunters will arrive at camp on Friday. Hunting begins on Saturday. There is no hunting on Sundays in Pennsylvania. Hunters can spend the entire day scouting our bear hunting areas or resting and relaxing at the camp. Hunting days are Saturday and Monday through Wednesday.

Burdick's Lodge is offering a hunt that just may be the only hunt of its kind offered in the U.S. ... Hunters will experience a "TRULY EXCITING" TOP NOTCH fully guided, all inclusive hunt.
Burdick's Lodge will provide 10 guides / drivers to drive Black Bears out of our many Swamps, Clear-Cuts, River Bottoms, and Dense Mountain Laurel patches. We have an endless amount of State Lands, Public Lands and Semi-Private lands, and now 1000 acres of 100% PRIVATE LAND that are PRIME Bear habitat. Our guides will beat the brush for 8 hours each day of the Pennsylvania 4-day bear season, pushing bear out of thick cover to our hunters who will be posted on the edges of the cover.

This hunt is all about service! Your hunt includes a very modern camp with all of the conveniences, all hunting licenses and permits, 4x4 trucks for transportation, skinning and processing, 10 guides, camp cook for all breakfast and dinners (lunches served in the field).
